Pulmonary / Cardiac Rehab

Cardiac Rehab
Cardiac patients such as those who have suffered heart attack, those with stable angina and those who have had open heart surgery may be encouraged to participate in a cardiac rehabilitation program. Participants will learn to manage controllable risk factors such as smoking, eating right, controlling hypertension and diabetes as well as customized exercise for the cardiac patient. Pulmonary Rehab
Pulmonary rehabilitation may also be recommended to the cardiac patient who suffers from breathing difficulties. The specialized rehab team will work with the patients to emphasize breathing pattern modification, adaptive techniques and proper use of medications. Complimentary Support Groups:
