Our staff is dedicated to providing a comprehensive range of health care and
health education services for women of all stages and ages of life.
 

Here at Health Central Hospital, you have an extended family of caregivers ready to receive you and your special delivery. Our oversized labor and delivery rooms, spacious family-oriented maternity suites and level I newborn nursery are located together on the third floor and offer a state-of-the-art security system to ensure your baby's safety.

Tours of the units are available for expectant mothers and family by calling 407.296.1380. 

Should the need arise, a specially trained pediatric physician is on staff and on call 24/7 to ensure your newborn receives the best possible care.

Health Central Hospital also offers board-certified lactation consultants, who are healthcare professionals with specialized knowledge and experience to help breastfeeding families from pregnancy through weaning. One of Health Central Hospital's Certified Lactation Counselors, can be reached at 407.296.1360.

Pediatrics
We understand how traumatic a hospital experience can be for a child. Kid Central is our special Pediatric Unit designed to provide a comfortable environment for both you and your child. All required treatments and procedures will be carefully explained to you and your child. Each room has a sofa to allow one parent or caregiver to stay overnight. Visiting Hours for Kid Central are form 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Educational Courses

 

FREE Childbirth Education Class

FREE Childbirth Education classes offered by Orange County Healthy Start are held at Health Central on Tuesday evenings for 5 consecutive weeks with a newly added DADDY BOOT CAMP. Class times are 6:30 pm to 9:30pm. Classes are designed to prepare expectant parents for childbirth experiences and will discuss topics such as breathing and relaxation, stages of labor, pain management, the postpartum period, breastfeeding and care of the newborn. Participants are encouraged to bring at least two pillows, a blanket, a coach, a drink and a snack.
