To keep pace with the need for interventional cardiac care, Health Central has invested in an additional cardiac catheterization lab to provide faster diagnosis and a higher level of patient care. Now, cardiac patients can be diagnosed and treated without having to leave Health Central. When there’s an emergency on a heart calling for ballooning or stinting of coronary vessels, we’ve got you covered. The cardiac Cath may be performed following positive signs for coronary artery disease and physician recommendation. A Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States and a leading cause of serious disability according to the American Heart AssociationHealth Central believes that prevention is as important as treatment and we can assist you in making informed lifestyle and healthcare choices to keep you well. Health Central Cardiology provides services that range from Cardiac and Pulmonary rehabilitation to a stress and sleep lab. Prevention information and overall cardiac knowledge including risk factors, warning signs and where to go are extremely important to the health of our community.
Outpatient Cardiac Care at Health Central includes the following services and programs.
Digital Sleep Lab
Sleep disorders can keep you awake and even develop into more serious cardiac issues. In most cases, however, sleep disorders are easily treated. The Sleep Lab at Health Central is equipped with dedicated physicians, technicians and staff to help develop an individual treatment program specifically designed for each client. Cardiac Rehabilitation Cardiac Rehab
Cardiac patients such as those who have suffered heart attack, those with stable angina and those who have had open heart surgery may be encouraged to participate in a cardiac rehabilitation program. Participants will learn to manage controllable risk factors such as smoking, eating habits, controlling hypertension and diabetes as well as customized exercise for the cardiac patient. Pulmonary Rehab
Pulmonary rehabilitation may also be recommended to the cardiac patient who suffers from breathing difficulties. The specialized rehab team will work with the patients to emphasize breathing pattern modification, adaptive techniques and proper use of medications.
