Matching Grant Opportunity! We are once again honored this year with a $50,000 matching grant from the Martin Andersen-Gracia Andersen Foundation. As part of our hospital mission to improve the health of our community, Health Central has expanded our services to patients in West Orange County with the purchase of a 16,000 square foot cancer center very near the hospital, making it convenient for those battling the disease. Once opened, this facility will offer a full array of compassionate cancer care to patients in our area. Initial offerings will include medical oncology including a Chemotherapy Infusion Center and Radiation Oncology.
Each dollar given will not only be matched up to $50,000, but will help to outfit the new Cancer Center, serving those patients in our community requiring this type of care and treatment.
The Foundation in the past has raised money for projects such as The School Nurse Program, Interventional Catheterization Lab, Cuddles Infant Protection System, Digital Mammography and for the Emergency Room renovation.
Securing funds through our Signature Events, community donors and planned gifts is the focus of the Foundation Board, engaging the residents of West Orange County to give to their community hospital. Future projects may include further renovations of the Emergency Room and helping support the hospital's greatest needs in a variety of areas.
