In a time of rising health care costs, our challenge is not only to maintain community support for Health Central, but also to preserve and enhance our current services and facilities. Join us as we embark on the first phase of a new cardiac catheterization lab. Right now, when a patient suffering from chest pain is brought to Health Central, our team can only diagnose blockage and recommend catheterization. When moments count, our patients want to receive the necessary procedure right away. A new cath lab will allow our outstanding team of physicians to treat a cardiac blockage right here in West Orange County, without the need to travel downtown for the procedure. The Foundation Board of Directors has challenged our community to raise the $2 million needed to fund this lab.
